5 Natural Allergy Relief Remedies. Natural remedies for seasonal allergies

Having seasonal allergies?  An estimated 50 million Americans, suffer from some type of allergies and chances are high that you or someone you know suffers from allergies. It is spring, the time of the year for congested, headaches, watery or itchy eyes. There are ways to deal with allergies naturally and I share with you my top favorite natural allergies remedies for busy lifestyle.
1. Drink More
Feeling stuffy? Drinking from hot fluids like teas, broth, or soup can help alleviate the thin the mucus in your nasal passages. The steam from this hot non-alcoholic beverage helps with this process. .

2. Rinse It Out
Nasal rinse can remove accumulated bacteria, thin mucus, and cut down on postnasal drip.
*Simply mix 1/2 teaspoon sea salt in 8 ounces of warm distilled water in a neti pot
*Lean over a sink and gently flush each nostril, one at a time.
Chlorine in tap water can  irritate your nasal lining and sinuses; it should not be used for a nasal rinse. Too busy to make the mix, my favorite alternatives

3. Natural alternative to Zyrtec? Try Butterbur and Quercetin
Several studies suggest that a butterbur extract called Ze 339 can have the same effect as antihistamine medicines. Quercetin found in plant foods like broccoli or cauliflower can calm down hyperactivity of the airways. Take natural drug-free supplements that combine both or natural supplement that only contain only one type of extract.

4. Wash up
Take a shower when you come home. After being outdoors, your clothes, hair, and skin are covered with tiny particles of allergens; wash these particles away so you don't transfer to your home.

5. Keep your home clean from allergy triggers
Having a clean home is one the best way to remove allergens. But, using harsh chemicals to clean your home can trigger allergies. Clean your house with natural cleaning products and use an air filter in your house.

Precautions when dealing Allergies
Mild or moderate allergies are usually not very threatening. However, severe allergic reactions require medical attention. See a doctor if you have severe allergic reactions.

Earth Day is almost here and you definitely need to find some unique activities to celebrate it. Either alone, with your friends or with your kids, there are plenty of activities that you can do on the next April 22nd. You could even this ideas to celebrate April as earth month instead of a single day.
 
So, here are the best tips for enjoying the Earth Day this year:
 

#1: Plant a Tree:
Nothing better than celebrating the Earth Day with a new tree that can provide us with oxygen and clean air. Just be a part of the Trees For The Earth initiative and help us all get to 7.8 billion trees planted by Earth Day 2020.
 
#2: Get Involved in a Community Garden:
No matter if you usually garden or not, the Earth Day is a perfect day to start or to help others starting a community garden. In case you don't know any, just do a quick search on Google for one next to you.
 
#3: Clean Out Your Closet and Donate to a Charity:
 While when you think about celebrating the Earth Day with activities you tend to think mostly about outdoor activities, the truth is that you can contribute at home as well. Just get rid of all those clothes you don't wear anymore and donate them. This will save a lot of our already scarce resources.
 
#4: Go to a Thrift Store:
 Helping others is a great way to celebrate the Earth Day and you will also be reutilizing old clothes. So, just check a near thrift store and get a new outfit.
 
#5: Stop Plastic Bottle of Water:
 
Drinking plenty of water is essential to having a beautiful skin, but there is no need to use plastic bottles when they are so many alternatives. Besides, you'll be saving a lot of plastic that would simply be filling up dumps and landfills. The brk bottles are one of my favorites glass water bottles; they reusable and beyond adorable with their decorative silicone sleeves.
 
 #6: Volunteer for An Environmental Charity:
What's better than volunteering for an environmental charity to celebrate Earth Day? From teaching classes to cleaning rivers, it's all about being earth-friendly. If you don't know any environmental charity, just contact Earth Day organizers.
 
#7: Ride Your Bike or Take A Hike:
Either alone, with your friends, or even with your kids, this is a beautiful activity that you can do to celebrate Earth Day this year. After all, you'll be enjoying everything nature provides us.
 
#8: Create Labels for The Garden with Your Kids:

#9: Make A Play Garden with Your Kids:
Another tip to involve kids on the Earth Day is to allow them to be useful, play, and learn at the same time. So, you can take a bit of space from your garden or yard and just make a play garden with them.
 
#10: Attend an Earth Day Event:
With so many events happening across the entire country, the difficult part will be choosing the one that you want to attend.
 
#11: Develop A Recycling Plan:
In case you are still not recycling, there is no better day to start. Just discover what you can recycle in your area and start from here.

#12: Transform Your Yard:
If you have a yard and you just don't know what you can do with it, why not creating some kind of oasis for birds and other creatures? Just put in a bird bath, install some birdhouses, and put a bird feeder.
 
#13: Make a Trashy Collage for Earth Day:
When your kids are young, they're going to love this activity for the Earth Day and they will be learning the same time. You can get some ideas from Teach Preschool.
 
#14: Take A Good Look Around Your Home:
Have you checked your faucets lately? Are you sure you don't have any faucets leaks? As you know, you may be wasting liters and liters of water.
  
#15: Join an Environment-Friendly Group:
Gathering with other people that think the same way as you about the environment is always positive. Who knows about the great ideas that can come from there?
 
#16: Go Vegan or Vegetarian For The Day:
 If you want to do something different for the Earth Day this year, you can turn into a vegetarian or a vegan for the day. You take a glance at your calendar and you have overdue tasks. You are overwhelmed at work and have a lot of tasks waiting for us at home. So, in order to make room for all of this, you stop going to the gym, skip lunch, and even forget about your social life completely. Doesn't this sound familiar?

 Unfortunately, this is the reality that many women who work and have a family need to deal with every single day. The truth is that as a woman, each one of us was raised with the idea that we need to make huge sacrifices for our family and for our work in order to reap the rewards of life. The truth is that you keep making sacrifices and more sacrifices and no reward at all.

​When you're in this situation, you're so overwhelmed, so stressed out, that even if you think (and you probably do) that you are doing a great job, the truth is that you aren't. You won't be able to focus, your skills aren't sharp anymore, and you're simply not being as productive as you can be.

And this is where self-care comes in your way. Things like having lunch, having a good night sleep, or occasionally hanging out with friends shouldn't even be considered self-care. But you already crossed that barrier as well. So, why is self-care so important?

When you don't feel well either physically, psychologically, or mentality, you won't be able to help others. Even though this may be one of the things that you really want to do, you just can't.
