To not strip away the natural oils from the skin, it is so important to understand how double cleansing work and what products to use. The natural skin care products we need to use when double cleansing should hydrate, smooth or exfoliate, help with aging signs, and treat acne.

For dry skin or mature skin, you need to be very careful with double cleansing; in my dry even more your skin, so the best way is to start with a cleansing balm. (100% Pure). You want your cleansing balm to be made shea butter and sunflower, coconut or jojoba oils. Then, use a cleanser that contains anti-aging ingredients like vitamin C, green tea and hyaluronic acid to deal with dryness, dullness and loss of firmness. Once you’re done with the double cleansing it is so important to apply your face oil or serum or and moisturizer. For these types of skins, we want to throw everything at it to keep the skin nourished, soft, and healthy.
For combination skin, it can be a little bit tricky since there are both dry skin and some type of oily skin. So, what I learned is that using an oil-based cleanser for first step is the safest. And then, use a moisturizing foam cleanser for step two.
For acne prone and sensitive skin, the first step when be to use a gentle cleansing oil to remove your makeup and then follow with a creamy cleanser or a cleaning milk that has exfoliating agents. You want your natural skin care products to be made with vitamin E, aloe, and green tea, plant extracts and lactic acid.
