We all know that we need to moisturize our skin. But, we sometimes forget that there are different types of moisturizers and each of work well for a specific type of skin. In this blog post, I share all the goods about natural moisturizers and what you need to know. Click to read more #greenbeauty #organicskincare #naturalproducts #glowingskin #beautifulskin
We all already know the importance of using moisturizers in our skin care routine; moisturizing your skin is one of the most important step in your skin care routine. But, there are a variety of moisturizers, it can be a little confusing to choose the best one for you.  Also, before we know it, winter will be around the corner and using a great moisturizer all year round especially during winter just goes a long ways.

So, in this blog post, I share with you all that I learned about moisturizing the natural way!!

 Different Types Of Natural Moisturizers

There are mainly four different types of natural moisturizers: gels, lotions, creams, and ointments. Even though moisturizers can be divided into these four categories, you need to keep in mind that they are all a mix of water and lipids (fat).

There are 6 types of natural moisturizers
Did you know that not all moisturizers are great on your skin type? If you want a glowing skin you need to use the right moisturizer. This blog post is all about natural moisturizers your skin needs. Click to read more #greenbeauty #organicskincare #naturalproducts #glowingskin #beautifulskin
#1: Gels
Gels are water-based lotions that are lightweight. They tend to be the least greasy and the lightest type of moisturizers. They easily absorb into skin and are usually a mixture of ingredients that include a liquid lipid base, alcohol, and water.
As soon as you apply the gel on your face, you will immediately feel a cool and refreshing sensation since gels tend to evaporate quickly. Gel moisturizers work well with sensitive skin and acne prone skin.

#2: Oil-free moisturizers
These moisturizers are similar to gel moisturizers. They are lightweight and do not clog the pores; they are generally non-comedogenic. They work great for acne-prone and blemish-prone skin.

#3: Facial oils or serums
You might not think facial oils and serums should be included here, but they are lightweight and packed with moisturizing ingredients. They work great for mature skin and sensitive skin. Facial serum are best for any types of skin; they are formulated to target a specific skin concern: skin brightening, aging sign concerns, and more. They are a mix of high quality oils and extracts that have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and hydrating properties. The molecules of facial serum have smaller molecules to deeply penetrate the skin.
Facial oils are different than facial moisturizers; they are made from various natural oils.  The molecules in facial oils are bigger than those in facial serums, so they stay at the top layers of the skin to moisturize, balance, and protect our skin. These oils are super effective because they are easily recognized by the skin; they mimic our skin’s natural sebum production.

Who thinks exfoliating is a must in your skin care routine?

I did not use to exfoliate my skin regularly, but now that I do my skin looks amazing. Today, it is all about exfoliating.

First, I love the Province Apothecary exfoliator | REGENERATING + STIMULATING EXFOLIATOR|.

If you are looking for a brightening natural exfoliator, this exfoliator will do more than you expect. After I use this exfoliator, my skin is smooth and also glowing.

They used simple ingredients here and this exfoliator is so effective. This exfoliator grains here are small; they are micro-grains that are very gentle on the skin. They recommend to mix 1 tsp exfoliator and 1 tsp luke warm to make a runny paste.

Congested Pores? I love this natural exfoliator; it clear out my skin without being irritating. Try this natural scrub to help with clear out your congested pores. Click through to read more about it #greebeauty #naturaskincare #congestedpores

Then, I gentle rub it my skin in circular motions for 3 to 5 minutes without forgetting my neck. I sometimes use a facial brush to help the process. I clear it out with a warm damp cloth. my skin is always left soft with a nice glow to it. Love it ?

It is very gentle but super effective. If you have dry, sensitive, or irritated skin, this vegan exfoliator is gentle enough for you. If you have oily skin, acne-prone, or combination skin you need an exfoliator to remove the excess oil that can naturally clog your pores.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser Review | Refined Looking Complexion - Antioxidant rich

I wanted to try this the Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE Brightening Gel Cleanser  for a while and I am very pleased with it.

What I liked about this cleanser? It is non-greasy and lightweight. My complexion was brighter and this natural cleanser left my skin with a nice glow just after one use. That was surprising!!

Another thing I like about this cleanser is that it helps with my skin texture. I have small bumps under my skin; what was even more surprising for me was the texture of my skin after I used it. One of the promise of this natural cleanser is that it exfoliates and visibly refines the skin with organic raw cane sugar. And it just did that. My skin was so smooth I used it.
Also, if you have combination or acne-prone skin, this cleanser has ingredients that will wash excess of oil that might clog pores.

HOW TO USE? This is very easy: Wash your hands first; you don't want to cleanse your face with dirty hands. Then, wet your face, neck, and décolleté.  Put a pea-size amount of the cleanser in the palms of your hands and massage in your face, neck and décolleté. Rinse well. Cleanse morning and evening.

Looking for a natural mask that will give you a plump soft and glowing skin?

Lately, I have been exploring natural masks for glowing skin and smooth skin and I Love Josh Rosebrook

|Advanced Hydration Mask|. It leaves my skin super hydrated and nourished. It feel like my skin just absorbs the moisture in this mask at a deeper level. If you are concerned with aging-skin or have dry and dull skin, this mask will be perfect for you. It leaves my skin plump and super soft. Many people with sensitive skin also love it.

HOW TO USE? They recommend to mist our face and apply the mask on dump face. Leave it on for 15 - 20 minutes and then remove with a dry cloth. This instructions completely work. I feel like my skin gets a double hydration here. First, the mist adds some moisture to my face and the mask adds even more hydration as it locks in the moisture of the facial mist. It is just so pampering.

Beauty Tips: I found that applying the mask, massaging it into the skin, and leaving it over night works wonder too. I wake up with a super soft skin especially under in my under-eye area and my checks. This is a great mask is you want help with wrinkles and fine lines.
