Who thinks exfoliating is a must in your skin care routine?

I did not use to exfoliate my skin regularly, but now that I do my skin looks amazing. Today, it is all about exfoliating.

First, I love the Province Apothecary exfoliator | REGENERATING + STIMULATING EXFOLIATOR|.

Then, I gentle rub it my skin in circular motions for 3 to 5 minutes without forgetting my neck. I sometimes use a facial brush to help the process. I clear it out with a warm damp cloth. my skin is always left soft with a nice glow to it. Love it ?

Bonus here - Add few ingredients to deal with specific skin issues!

Instead of warm water:
*For dry and sensitive skin: Use oil or cream
    *For Oily Skin:
Use yogurt  (deeper aha-type exfoliation)
*For Acne: Use raw organic honey for healing

Second, More on Exfoliation:
Sometimes, we think that scrubs need to have coarse grains, but I learned at the cost of my skin that these types of scrubs actually ruin our skin. They create micro-tear that damage our skin and make it more sensitive. This can accelerate the aging process and create a granny skin texture they say and I believe it.

Scrubbing is about removing dead skin to help new youthful skin cells at the surface; it is also about help cleanse the pores.

Some say that we should step away from scrubs and stick with peels because physical scrubs can be misused and overdone.
