Vacation time is here and I’m so looking forward to the carefree days. That also goes for my skincare routine; my every day skincare routine is pretty solid but on vacation I like to have natural products that are high-performing by super easy to deal with and carry around.

For me vacation means small suitcase and natural beauty product that fit in a small toiletry travel bag. I don’t even remember the last time I checked any luggage. Other the years, I have been able to find super effective travel-size natural beauty products that make my trips so easy.

So, I tested many DIY recipes to get rid of dark circles and I share with you the ones that work in this blog post. You can do these at home and keep them in your refrigerators, but reuse them within couple of days.

First, do not believe the stories about getting rid of dark circles overnight. Your skin might be brighter or the appearance of the dark circles might be better. Also, lots of DIY work best when you have some puffiness; they tighten the skin, but do not get rid of the dark circles overnight.

Second, if you want to see real result, you have to include the DIYs that work in your skin care routine and do them on a regular basis. It is the same with many natural skin care products that give effective results, it takes a little bit of time for them to work.

Sunscreens contains some of the most toxic ingredients. Many claims in the green beauty world can be scary. But the claim that the regular sunscreens containing a ridiculous amount of toxins is so true. FDA's new proposed regulation on sunscreens indicates that out of 16 ingredients found in regular sunscreen only two are deemed safe: zinc Oxide and titanium dioxide. One of the major ingredients natural sunscreens is zinc oxide. But natural beauty makers went even further; the standard is using non-nano zinc oxide for natural sunscreens. A nano particle will enter the blood stream but a non-nano is safer because it will not.
